Zero Impact Web
All the doBank websites support the Zero Impact Web project
The doBank Group compensates for the carbon dioxide emissions resulting from visits to their websites by helping to protect growing forests and contributing to the fight against global warming.
Notwithstanding the fact that it has done a lot to reduce CO2 emissions, even the Internet causes pollution. According to a Greenpeace report, at the current rate of growth, by 2020 data centres and telecommunication networks will consume about 2,000 billion kilowatts of electricity, more than three times their current consumption.
This is why the Group's websites support the Zero Impact Web project and do their bit to fight global warming. The emissions deriving from your visits to our websites will be compensated by the creation and protection of growing woodlands in the Ticino Park.
It may seem rather insignificant, but if everyone does their bit it will help to create awareness and it will help the environment. After all, that's what allows you to browse through these web pages with a clear conscience. Why don't you also support this initiative because together we can really make a difference!
